Depending on the country you choose, acquiring second citizenship is an expensive procedure, and requires a high-level of trust from the perspective of both the client and the agent. Below are several key questions with answers that we hope will put your mind at ease before contacting us.
Why Trust Us?
Trust is of vital importance when acquiring second citizenship, especially if your place of birth is a country that frowns upon such a practice. You are trusting us with who you are, your struggle, your ambitions, and then furthermore trusting us with your future. It is then our job to ensure that future for you.
The easiest way for you to establish a level of trust with us is to make contact, either by email or by telephone. Ideally, we would like to meet you face-to-face in complete privacy at one of our offices, or a location of your choosing. If you prefer, you can chat face-to-face via Skype to one of our citizenship experts.
Any meetings or conversations we have will be in complete privacy and in the strictest confidence, and you will be under no obligation to proceed with any of our programs until your choosing.
We appreciate that such a life-changing endeavor as acquiring second citizenship takes a lot of thought and decision making before going ahead and embarking on the process. We are here to listen to all of your concerns or doubts, and to help put your mind at ease before making what will be a life-affirming commitment.
How Can I Be Sure You Are Legitimate?
Write into your search engine our company name, and then add fraud, con, scam or any such noun you choose. You will not find a single negative comment about us anywhere online. If we were such an operation, a little investigation would soon reveal as much.
We implore all of our perspective clients to do as much research on us as possible. We want you to trust us, as second citizenship is very-much a trust-based business.
Come and speak to us at one of our offices. Get to know us well. If you then leave it for six months or a year or more, Â and then decide get back in touch with us, we will still be here, open for business.
Can You Show Me Examples Of Satisfied Clients?
Much as we would love to able to do that, we cannot. Second citizenship is a highly private matter, and in most cases clients of ours who have obtained a second passport wish to keep it as such. Their reasons will range from fear of expulsion from their original nation (many Middle-Eastern, African and Asian countries’ official stance on second citizenship is negative) to concerns over financial investigations into their offshore banking and investments. Others prefer to keep their second citizenship private for more personal reasons. Regardless, ownership of a second passport is your affair, and yours only.
We have several heart-felt and genuine testimonials featured on our site, although in all likelihood the contributors will have changed their names to protect their privacy, which is their right.
Ask yourself this question; if you were to successfully obtain a second passport, would you want the whole world to know about it?
How Much Initial Capital Will We Need?
This very much depends on the Citizenship by Investment program you choose. Some will require a substantial initial outlay, while others will require very little until the verge of completion. Please remember that all CBI programs are born out of a country’s desire to raise capital by sale of its citizenship. For some countries, CBI is a substantial part of their gross domestic income.
A CBI program like that of the Caribbean country St Kitts and Nevis requires a high level of investment in real estate before the citizenship application can be completed. If this is the case, we would ask you to travel to the country in question and meet with a member of our team plus a local government representative to oversee the purchase of said real estate and vouch as to its legitimacy and quality.
Others like the CBI program for Guatemala are far more straightforward, and will begin with a visit to a Guatemalan embassy for a biometric assessment and the signature of some forms and documents, and will require far less initial working capital.
With any citizenship program, we will clearly inform you of whatever outlay is initially required, what it is for and where it will be paid. You or your representative can then be present at each stage of the citizenship process to oversee its legitimacy if you so wish.
Do You Provide Power Of Attorney?
We cannot stress enough the importance of the client being available for as many steps of the citizenship process as possible. Our job is made simpler if the authorities in the country of a client’s choosing can see the client and interact with them.
Ideally, we would like the client to be on board right from the start of the process by travelling to the country of their choice of citizenship with our representative and a member of our legal team. This establishes an immediate level of trust between the client and the government of that country.
That said, we understand the difficulties people have acquiring travel visas to specific countries. We also are aware that travel to certain countries might arouse the curiosity or suspicion of the authorities of your current nation. In most cases we implore clients to make at least one early visit to – at the very least – an embassy of the country they are targeting for citizenship for biometric purposes, or at the end of the process in order to receive the passport and documents.
However, in extreme cases a client can grant us full Power of Attorney throughout the entire citizenship process, and will not need to enter said country to acquire its citizenship.
Can You Guarantee The Longevity Of My Passport?
The Citizenship by Investment programs that we work with are all from countries that have a sound basis for the future. Clearly, citizenship to countries like Germany, Austria, Belgium and the United Kingdom would seem to be better choices for long-term citizenship stability than Greece, Hungary or Turkey for example. However, any E.U nation that embarks on a Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program must adhere to the same European Union rules and regulations, whether they be Germany or Hungary.
When you become a citizen of Hungary for example, you have the same rights as those who are Hungarians by birth. Even if a new government were to come into power that chose to discontinue with their CBI program, the government would still legally have to recognize the rights of those who have gained Hungarian citizenship via that program, in much the same way as they would recognize the rights of someone who had acquired Hungarian citizenship via marriage or after years of living and working there.
Every citizenship program we work with is for life, with a passport that must be updated every five-to-ten years, just as you must update your original passport for it to be valid.
The only way second citizenship can ever be revoked is if the holder provided false documentation or failed to divulge a criminal conviction during their application. We therefore always implore our clients to be open and honest with us before applying for second citizenship, and we in return will be completely honest in our appraisal of your chances of acquiring said citizenship.
